What is astral projection and what happens when you do it?

Astral travel or astral projection is an experience that incurs when the astral body is separated from the mental body. People have had that experience purposely and spontaneously.

Astral projection can be done in a conscious way but you must practice a lot.  Depending on what type of techniques used you can achieve astral travel.

When you projected out of the body you can learn things and visit places that are impossible to anyone else.  As the astral body is detached from time and space it does not matter the distance or the time in astral travel.  You could go to other planets or dimensions in a matter of seconds.

Is it dangerous? No, it is safe to do astral projection. The astral body remains connected with the physical body through what is called a gold cord. No matter how far you’re always connected to your body physical and return to it. The only time you are not returned is at death. This is when the bond between the two bodies breaks.

Techniques to make an astral projection.

Apart from a trip inadvertently, bypass may be done consciously by the application of certain techniques:

One that is very popular, which is called “small jump technique”, and which needs to be incorporated into our day to day routine is to be conscious or aware of everything around us.  Whether it is people, objects or places we need to tune ourselves into becoming aware of our surroundings. This is because unlike the physical world in the astral world, there are things that do not exist. There could be strange creatures, flying objects and more.

To apply this technique is to see a foreign object and ask; am I in the physical world or the astral? Then make a small jump with the intention of floating in the air. If you stay afloat you’re in the astral, but if not it is obvious that the physical world.

There are other techniques as well such as mantras, music therapy and brain waves training, that are much easier however for the fastest result we suggest the small jump technique.
